چکیده

In this article, we present the Open-Source AcoustoFluidics Theories (OSAFT) library (version 0.9.14), a Python for acoustofluidics. The focus of is classical problem particle suspended in fluid and subjected to an incident acoustic wave. code provides easy access number theories describing scattering, streaming, most importantly radiation force exerted on particle. At time submission six different theoretical models various limiting cases thereof are available. All treating single, spherical infinite 3D-domain plane standing or traveling implementations further currently under development. Our designed be extensible. A solid material facilitates implementation new theories. unified application programming interface (API), which used across all models, makes comparisons between straightforward. Such can made directly by user through plotting capabilities our library. distributed Python’s standard software repository PyPi. Illustrative examples project’s website serve as starting point learning library’s API. For more in-depth understanding code, complete documentation codebase, directed at users well future collaborators, available online. effort make extensive possible, authors article looking collaborators project.

Manpy: an Open Source Library of Manufacturing Simulation Objects Written in Python

Discrete Event Simulation (DES) is arguably one of the most popular operation research techniques. Even though Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) DES software has reached an impressive state of maturity, there are still problems that deter organizations from investing in such tools and adopting DES in their decision support processes. On the other hand, the nature of Open Source (OS) software deve...

Open-Source Syringe Pump Library

This article explores a new open-source method for developing and manufacturing high-quality scientific equipment suitable for use in virtually any laboratory. A syringe pump was designed using freely available open-source computer aided design (CAD) software and manufactured using an open-source RepRap 3-D printer and readily available parts. The design, bill of materials and assembly instruct...

dfesnippets: An Open-Source Library for Dataflow Acceleration on FPGAs

Highly-tuned FPGA implementations can achieve significant performance and power efficiency gains over general purpose hardware. However the limited development productivity has prevented mainstream adoption of FPGAs in many areas such as High Performance Computing. High level standard development libraries are increasingly adopted in improving productivity. We propose an approach for performanc...
